A new Google tool : Image Ripper
Filed in archive News by S.M. Schrama on March 14, 2007

Amongst the finest in software is a beautiful little app called Google Image Ripper. What it does ? Exactly what you'd expect. You key in your keyword, choose size and start downloading.
Normally, a Google Images search presents you with countless pages' worth of thumbnails, each of which you have to click (usually twice) to see the full-size image. With Google Image Ripper, you enter your search term and pick an image size (from icon to xxlarge); the engine fetches the images and dumps the full-size results into a single browser page. It's not quite as elegant as the thumbnail view, but it's a helluva lot faster for finding a desired image.(Lifehacker)
