AJAX based E-messenger
Filed in archive Ajax , Web Based Apps by bob on March 22, 2006
E-messenger is a great tool if you want to use Instant Messaging from MSN, AOL or Yahoo! but can't install the software. This may happen if you are in a public computer or at work and don't have administration privileges over your machine.

Just recently, I tried E-messenger AJAX version and I found it to be really good. It really works and feels like a regular desktop application. Try adjusting the Settings, for instances. A dialog box pop-ups (in the same browser window), while the background fades and becomes inaccessible.

Try also to right click a contact. It does exactly what you would expect from a regular application. And not all web based apps can claim to do that...
