After a post by engadget saying the iPhone will be delayed several months, which was based on a bogus mail, apple's stock took a big hit a day or so ago. Techcrunch is referring to it as Applegate, claiming this it what the whole situation is called in Sillicon Valley. Well, I don't know about that, but I think applegate is a bit over the top. It sounds more to me that this is a case of engadgetgate, right ?? Engadget is a serious site, so they have posted an explanation of wat happened here. Maybe they based themselves on a truemor ??
