Braincast : remind yourself
Filed in archive Newsdesk 2.0 by S.M. Schrama on November 9, 2006
I have always had problems remembering things. So I have to walk around carrying a PDA that holds all kinds of information and has audible reminders. Being a gadget freak, there's no problem in carrying 'round a PDA. But often it reminds me of things to do at times that aren't too practical. For instance, reminding me of doing something on a website while driving doesn't work. So what I need is voice recordings combined with a calendar that schedules replay of the recordings.
Braincast : remind yourself

Braincast is an interesting initiative that offers something that closely resembles what I need :
BrainCast is a free message and memo service that allows you to record reminders for yourself on the go, and automatically delivers them to your PC at home for later use.(Braincast FAQ)
Recordings can be labeled, sent to someone and have notes added. The only thing I could think of is another login. As often, this will add another login and password to your long list of logins for the web. It's about time for a system that ties all your favorite sites together. this actually exists, but doesn't work on all website unfortunately.....
