eBible is what you could call Social Networking of the religious kind. The site opened a couple of days back :
We're open! After more than a year of planning, alpha and beta releases, late night cravings for Chinese food, the site is finally open to the public! Yes that's right, you no longer have to beg eBible bloggers for an invitation, you can now create your own account!
Since the bible is not a small book, it must have been quite a job to get it online and searchable. When you enter the site, three modules are available : Use the bible, understand the bible and share the bible. You can create a free account, but the online bible is available without one. I tried a search for love which gave me a results page, pretty similar to any searchengine's results page which inludes commercial ads on the right side (not Google's ads by the way).
The site looks clean and simple, and even for a non-religious person like myself this can be a nice source of onformation from time to time if you're covering a related subject. Instead of putting one version online, they've put together a bookshelf with different version, most of them accessible by everyone. If you have an account it's possible so put your own bookshelf together.

Seek and ye shall find...
