Famster offers 1 GB storage you can use for the whole set of applications, including e-mail. The interface is very, very sleek (totally built in Flash) and works fine.

The creators of Famster have done good research since this site is full of features for families : Even a place to share recipes is included (23,000 preloaded !!). Photo upload is unlimited, the contact list integrate with Yahoo! Maps and even a feedreader is in there. In short : A very nice looking fully specced site. I am impressed.

I have a family web site at Famster. While I love the:
- Private online networking space for your family and friends,
- Lack of advertising,
- Easiest-to-use blogging tool, and
- Unlimited space for photos and videos
I am frustrated by some of the “obvious” things they can do to make the site more intuitive and user- and visitor-friendly.
That’s why I’ve launched my blog at http://www.ILoveFamster.com.
Through it, I share what I think is both fabulous and frustrating about Famster. If you are a current, former, or potential Famster user, stop by and share your thoughts.

Another family social network is http://www.familyden.com.
You can create a profile and connect with relatives and family members, even in-laws if you choose. Privately share Videos and Photos which whom you choose.
