Flixster : Rate movies and share

Social networks exis in all kinds of flavors, covering personal topics from cars to life's ways and even erotic social networks are very popular. Flixster is nothing like that. Flixster is about movies.



On flixster, you can rate movies and share reviews with others. Nothing new, I'd say, but it is very, very popular. How come ? it's in the features :

Another interesting feature is that each movie can have many skins. The skins are created by Flixster users and are available to be applied to the movie by other users. This is a fun and playful way for users to express their attitudes towards a movie.

I'm not impressed. All that work just to share reviews ? Well, it all comes down to personal preferences and hobbies, I guess.....
