Girl Ambition: Kids on the Web

Filed in archive General on March 30, 2009

As a teacher who's interested in letting kids use technology, I'm always interested in anything that makes it safer and more productive for them. So When I say this Mashable review of Girl Ambition, I gave it a closer look.
Girl Ambition is site for girls by girls. Started by three working moms, the site hopes to provide a safe, fun, positive, and inspirational environment for tween girls and their parents. Girls can play games, participate in arts and crafts, take quizzes, email and chat with friends, and even raise a virtual pet.
And your daughter can create her own online content.

The one drawback: it is a pay site. First month is free, but after that it's $4.99 a month.
