GMail : give me more, please
Filed in archive Web 2.0 on November 16, 2006
GMail is good. Very good, I could say. Impressive search capabilities, nice interface, lots of features, and it's fast. What more could we possibly want ? Even more features. But doesn't Google add features from time to time ? Yes, but we've scavengers, *vultures* to be precize, so we want even more.
So what do we want ? Well, Liz Gannes from Web Worker Daily thought about it and came up with a couple of good ones. A few examples :
A notepad/to-do list. I agree, Google Notebook isn't good enough. something that integrates in GMail's interface.
Better integration of Google Calendar - Yes it's integrated but it's 1980 style
Liz has some more points, but I came up with something too. If a notepad would be integrated, this should also be integrated with the adress book and calendar, allowing you to join notes, calendar items and adresses together. That way it gets much easier organizing your life. And needless to say, this should be easily accesible on your mobile, of course...
