His family later adopted the name of Tehrani and from then on this house became known as the Tehrani- ha's house . This building consists of a main part and a serv_ice area. The main part comprises courtyard around which closed spaces are laid out on two floors. The courtyard is oriented along a north- south axis. The entrance, which combines a portico, a vestibule and a corridor , is located at the northwestern corner of the building. The service area , located at the southern and of the house , has a separate entrance .This part sits behind the spaces adjoining the central courtyard and is therefore removed from the main play of the spaces of the ensemble. In the spatial order of the house,it appears that the eiven, the reception hall and the larg she- daris which are all principal ,closed and semi -open spaces occupy the center of the courtyard's sides and are strongly linked toit . In a second stage , the smaller rooms are located on each side of the courtyard and benefit from its view .
