Google Gadgets : free for all

Filed in archive Announcements by S.M. Schrama on October 5, 2006

Google's Gadgets For Your Webpage has just been opened for use in any webpage. Before they could be very easily integrated into Google Pages, but Google has released the gadgets in to real world.

Google Gadgets : free for all
"Now anyone can have a great-looking website with automatically updating content," said Adam Sah, google gadgetslinks Architect. "By making Google Gadgets available for you to add to your webpage, we're working to connect developers with enthusiastic consumers and to make information universally accessible and useful to the individual user."(Google Press Center)
Google also encourages devlopers to build their own gadgets by freeing the api.

I think this is unbelievable news, but I can't help but wonder when Google will take over the planet, they have a map already....
