When Google aquired Jotspot, it was clear that the company would integrate Jotspots WIKI to it's large collection of online applications. Today it has happened: The app offers several options to create websites that can be mapped to a domain name, or kept private.
The application also allows for integration of iGoogle widgets, other google products from Google Apps and, for instance Youtube. Storage is limited to 10GB (that should be enough...) but more storage can be bought.
In an interview today, Google's Management Director of Enterprise Matthew Glotzbach called the combined products under Google Apps a "Microsoft Sharepoint killer" because it's allowing businesses to collaborate without all that expensive Microsoft software. It may not be a Sharepoint killer yet, but Google Apps constitutes 2-3% of Google's total revenues. Some point soon, its going to start hurting Microsoft. ()
In some respect it actually is a sharepoint killer, as that software is nothing more than a glorified shared disk.
Anyhow, I am pretty excited.
