Google to complete office suite with Powerpoint clone
of the release of a powerpoint clone, Presentation software that is to become a part of the Google Docs&Spreadsheets family.
Schmidt starts off by announcing a presentation feature for Docs & Spreadsheets. He says Google D&S is a collaborative, web 2.0 framework - very different to MS Office according to Schmidt. He talks about the transition to a web-based computing framework, which their product is a good example of (ReadWriteWeb)

This is spectacular, as everyone would expect a MS clone, while MS doesnt necessarily have the best software.

I wonder if the app will become part of the free Google docs&spreadsheets family, or whether Google will introduce a paid version holding this application ? And what about the Google Apps ? Will it be available in the free version or only in the paid version ? Interestingdevelopments that could influence the way business is done, as this app could be interesting for companies as some already traded in locally installed apps for the online ones google currently offers. I guess only time can tell....
