Google keeps on innovating. We knew this was coming, but it is still revolutionary : Within Google Docs&Spreadsheets you can now create presentations. I tried it and I am impressed with the speed, flexibility and features - it has everything I would ever need.
As far away as I would normally stay from Office suites, and especially microsoft office, I immedtialy found three things I can use Google's presentations for. The best feature of the program is the option of having online presentations with other members, who can view your presentation *live*.
Create a whole new slideshow in Presentations or upload an existing PowerPoint file to get started. Kick your web-based presentation into slideshow view mode and invite others to see it real time as you move through slides-with chat built right into the sidebar.(Lifehacker)
A worthy addition to Google Docs&Spreadsheets !
