Recently I spoke about the fact that Mac's iCal talks to Google's calendar service with the use of a little piece of software. Today I am a happy man. Google's Calendar is now sync'able (is that a word?) with your mobile or pda. Palm and Windows Mobile PDA users will need to download a special applet that performs the synchronization process, but lots of phones can do it without the applet. All you need to do is create an account at Goosync, they will take care of the synchronisation.

What do you think about zyb.com (the phone backup service)? They have just started GCal import to zyb and further sync it with the mobile.
I have high hope for Goosync but there are privacy concerns folks should no about before they use this BETA service. First you have to give them your Google login. Second, with some devices your calendar info may get mixed up with someone else’s calendar. I wrote up a review that discusses these in more detail: http://www.squidoo.com/goosync/
GooSync Update:
