Social networking is hot. Sites are launched all over the internet around this. One of the more recent is Gradr. Gradr is a site where you can discuss the stock markets.

Colbert reported about Gradr on Itechtips.
What is gradr.com?registered users can also upgrade or downgrade stocks. Upgrading results in the stocks being displayed on the main page. If this starts to be seriously used, I think this could potentially influence the stock exchanges. For people that don't have the knowledge on Stock Exchange symbols a search functio. is provided that allows you to search the symbol that belongs to a company. That makes this site easy accessible for most of us.
gradr.com is a stock market flavored, social networking web site. gradr.com was developed from December 2005 to June 2006 and launched in June 2006.

Another new social networking site centered around stocks is http://www.prooftrader.com.
The focus is equally on writing good content in the form of articles and making good predictions. All users are rated with a 1 - 100 score representing how good their predictions were over time.
