How To Become a Toplin
Filed in archive Weblin by Linda Roeder on July 4, 2008
First of all, let me tell you what a Toplin is. Do you remember Weblins? I've been talking about them on this blog for a couple months now. They're little avatars that actually live on the bottom of your browser as you browse the Web and let you chat with other people who are reading the same site at the same time.

Toplin stands for top ranking Weblins and refers to Weblins who have been most active in the Weblin community. Who does the most chatting? Who sends the most gifts to other Weblins? Which Weblins are online the most? Who was the most active Weblin this week? This month? Today?

The more active you are in the Weblin community the more activity points you'll collect for your Weblin. You can gain activity points for things like chatting and visiting other sites too. When you collect enough activity points you can even earn a title, medals and stars. These rewards can be seen right next to your Weblin's name.

The highest level reachable, at the moment, is "blue sapphire". One person has reached this level so far and it only took her about 8 months. Every time you're the winner of a detailed category on Toplin you'll get a title. How would you like to be known as "Talkmaster of the week"?
