Imeem : A Secret Garden

There are lots of social networks out there. Some of them are known by everyone, some of them are more like a secret garden : Known to some and considered sacred. Imeem is one of those.

imeem is a social media service where users interact with each other by watching, posting, and sharing content of all media types, including blogs, photos, audio, and video. In one sense, imeem is a media-centric social network service, and in another sense, it is also a user participation service for online content.(Wikipedia)

One of the first things I noticed is this :

Use any and all of your IM services from one application

This means Imeem integrates nicely into the life online you have already. And in this world, especially in Web 2.0, integration is very important. Imeem offers two ways of working : Using a local program and the site, or completely webbased. This makes it great for home and office use : Use the client software from home and keep in touch through the website from work. Imeem looks very promising. Check it out.
