Information wants to be Free

Google's Base has been around for some time, there are several "Answers" sites, we all know Wikipedia and so on. What's it all about ? Information. What is information ? Information is data that somehow has a meaning to us. Where the world has been a mute place for a long time, where professors were the only people having access to a lot of information, it all becomes available to anyone now.

This sounds like something you could one day sue them over, doesn't it ? But seriously, I like it. I like it a lot. Not because it's freebase, but I have been writing for a couple of years now on several websites, and sites like Base, Answers and especially wikipedia because of it's scientific nature have always played an important role when researching a topic. Therefore, I believe in Freebase.
