Islandoo : Temporary Social Network

Islandoo has been up for 16 days and already it has a daily vist cound of 800,000. What is Islandoo ?

Islandoo was setup only to find candidates for a UK television show called Shipwrecked, which airs on BBC America and the UK's Channel 4.

There are not much Social Network for one purpose out there, and temporary as well.
Islandoo is powered by Bloombox, a web application for broadcasters and tv producers. As Islandoo is in fact a place where wannabee-actors present themselves, a lot of girls pose in bikinis on the site drawing a lot of attraction. Every user can become fan of another user, thus selecting by popularity. The only thing I miss is information on the tv series it's for.....
