Joost opens it's doors to everyone

A lot of people on the internet are talking about Joost. Right after Joosts first opening (invitation only) people talked about it as if this is the replacement of your tv set you have been waiting for. Today Joost has opened it's doors for the general public. Joost is now available for everyone. So I gave the site a look to find out why Joost is so revolutionary. And you know what ? It isn't.
If you look into the listings, you quickly find out that over 60% is cartoonish and looks like it has been made by people that should have spent their time looking for a job. If you look at the film listing, you only get some indie-specialized channels and a couple of cultfilm channels. And it's the same in the other listings. There's no mainstream. So how does Joost think it will attract a big audience ?
Joost is built on top of a peer-to-peer network, just like Skype is. You need a client to use it, and I have no idea whether this piece of software will function as active part of the grid as Skype does.
Joost is here.
