Kool IM : Meebo killer ?

Kool IM : Meebo killer ?
Koolim is an IM service that compares to eBuddy and Meebo. As Meebo is Superior to eBuddy, Kool IM is a real competitor as it offers the same IM platforms as Meebo does. Advantage of both Meebo and Kool IM is login functionality : You can create an account on their site that remembers all logins to your IM sessions. Easy !

Meebo also allows you to create account to remember all your info and log on to all the IM services simultaneously.

a meebo killer? maybe, it could be! i remmeber when meebo was launched, it did not have even close to the feature set that koolim has, so i think if they were to create an embedded version, they will have a chance.

I disagree. Meebo has history logs, change of display name etc. They also allow a/c creation to rem your logins to create single sign-on for your IMs. However, they are unable to upload our avartars. I believe a close contender may be http://www.messengerfx.com (altho pretty under developed now). Else meebo rules for the moment.

I think koolim needs an embedded version and some other missing features that meebo has and it will be very competitive.

I would be scared to use IMHAHA for now because they are a company from asia on the web and they will have our usernames and passwords and that scares me.

I agree with Colbert here. Consolidating is the keyword here. You don’t want different apps, nor just talking to people on one IM. You want to talk to everyone using one prog.

I think there is a way to make money, first you need a good app, than traffic and than you need to capitalize on that traffic.

i rather use ebuddy than meebo, this is for a sole reason that i use it on both my mobile and psp… it’s simply impossible to do so with meebo… ill give this IM a try and find out its usability,
