The Web is going more and more social. Where there are a lot of applications available on the internet, some are making smart use of the users that take advantage of the services offered.
LiveMocha is a site that offers you a language course. In itself, that is not new. But the power is in how it works. You actually learn the language from former students, and you have the ability to offer that to new users too. It is social in every way I can think of.

Livemocha participants gain unique insight from speaking to people in their chosen languages native country. They successfully achieve true conversational proficiency and cultural knowledge through authentic interaction. Site seeing tips, invigorating discussions or meeting a new friend are all possible through our community features.
Go and learn! Visit LiveMocha.
