If you think online games and virtual worlds are confined to the English-speaking Internet, it's time to wake up...
Zhu Xian is one of China's most popular MMORPGs (massive multiplayer online role-playing game), and Market Watch is reporting that the game has been launched in Malaysia and Singapore.
The game Zhu Xian is owned by Perfect World Co., Ltd. , one of China's leading online game developers and operators. It is based on a popular Internet fantasy novel by the same name. There are plans to launch the game in Thailand and Vietnam, as well.
Singapore has a population of almost five million; the city is about 75 percent ethnic Chinese. About a quarter of Malaysia's 28 million citizens are ethnic Chinese.
