Web Based Apps

Most project management software is overfeatured crap. The vendors try and sell you their crap with multicolored bars, easy overviews and other things that should not be key-features but details. And you'd have to install it on your pc. Well, some light shines through : Here is Basecamp HQ. From the website you create a login. Based on the price, options vary. The free version does just enough to get a small company going. Your todo's are there, you can hook them up to your milestones, let the milestones warn you and you can put your ideas on the writeboard. Easy, but functional. At 99 USD a month, one GB of free storage, unlimited clients and employees and the number of projects is unlimited. not really very impressive - the free version does it for me.
