Microsoft bids 4.2 billion on Yahoo

Filed in archive Newsdesk 2.0 by S.M. Schrama on February 9, 2008

The news is known worldwide. What's interesting about it is what is going to happen now. Will Yahoo take the offer? Some say it drove Yahoo towards Google, who has a stronger position right now.
I discussed the issue earlier this week on the Dutch Info Network.

Latest news is that Yahoo has refused the offer although Yahoo is in trouble. This might mean that Yahoo will actually look for partnership or even takeover by Google. We'll see what happens.
