Mondaymornings are mostly slow. That is, business goes on as usual and there's enough to do as on every morning, but on monday I startup a bit slow, as most people I think. This morning, when I was going through my gmail, in the right sidebar I saw an ad for protopage. I clicked on it, and when I looked at the page, I was overwelmed with, err, mixed feelings.

Yes, the page looks attractive and it asks you to give the page a title, which is fun. But at the same time, it made me loose interest. Couldn't they come up with a title themselves ? Were they so eager to launch they could not find the time to think of a title ? Or is this supposed to be cool, or fun ? Protopage ? I have to say the page is wellmade, it is pretty interactive and fast, it attrackts you by moving under your mouse movement, but if you look at functionality, which I usually do, I am not impressed. What they offer is already available in my macbook's dashboard, and on several other websites too. I don't know who invests in this, but I sure won't.
