I think that the best example of how users write the internet (definition of Web 2.0, right ?!) is user generated news. Some of you might think that I am talking exclusively about news sites like Topix, but I am alos talking about professional blogs and information sites like about.com.

Nowpublic has just received 10.8 million in venture capital funding. This is important, as this means that this usergenerated newssite is taken seriously by investors, and therefore apparently is something promising moneywise.

We already knew that usergenerated news and media is the key to the future (Web 3.0 ??), but the fact that investors believe in it too is good news.
