Online image editing is a growing market. And why not ? If you have a screenshot of something and want to cutoff the borders, what do you need an installed editor for ? One of the latest additions in the image editing category is , but hey, it's a matter of opinion I guess and it all depends on the features you use most and the things you like in a program, the way you work. I have one comment to his piece on online image editors though :

Really ? It never loaded correctly in Safari or Firefox on my Macbook......I can recommend picnik, even though it's not all finished yet.
