Organize yourself with Foldera
Filed in archive Newsdesk 2.0 on July 2, 2007
When you mainly work at a desk with a computer on it, you may get stuck in a cyberworld where you loose track of where you left documents and notes for certain projects. You can easily get buried under a big, unorganized stack of work that is impossible to work with. Where is your work ? Where are those meeting notes you made ? What did you do with the notes from the telephone call with that customer ?
Foldera is here to help you."There's a problem with the productivity and collaboration tools you use - email, contact managers, calendars, task lists, and applications specific to the work you do. Powerful and feature-laden though they may be, their very capability presents a problem. The volumes of information you produce with these separate tools must all be organized, sorted, and filed - by you! (KillerStartups.com)
It all sounds very promising, but I was disappointed to find the signup procedure terrible : they want to know everything before you can sign up ! I firmly believe that people not having the knowledge or experience with similar online apps wil be scared off by this. Foldera looks promising though. Unfortunately I was unable to review it better, as I received notification that the amount of new accounts have piled up and I have to be patient.
Ok. Ill be back.
In the meantime, read FlippingHeck's review for more information or visit Foldera yourself.

We require only three items during the signup process,
1. domain name for the account,
2. name of the person
3. email address to send the account
credentials.
We do ask for other items, but these are optional and are used to help us in our marketing and support programs to continuously improve our product and our marketing efforts.
Currently we are processing most account requests within 24-hours. Might be longer if requested over the weekend. By the end of the month we will implement a self-provisioning tool which will provide account credentials within minutes of the request.
I look forward to hearing what you think about Foldera once you get your account and give it a try.
Regards,
Ken
