People are building stuff on twitter

They must have understood me clearly when I stated this : "Twitter ? They will have disappeared in a couple of months." I also stated that twitter would never survive unless applications would be built on top of it, and quite up to my satisfaction, applications emerge that are built on top of twitter.


Latest I noticed is monitwitter. What is it ? It's a web site monitoringlinks tool, built on twitter. It is like pingdom, but notifications go through twitter. Let's just hope people didn't build their tumblrs on your twitter feed. On the other hand, if you monitor several systems or websites, it is pretty easy to build a small webpage that shows the last five or more articles from your twitter monitor feeds and keep a sharp overview of things....
