Web2.0 Software
by S.M. Schrama on June 19, 2006
Google's photo software Picasa is loaded with a lot of nice features that enable you to organise your photo's. Tagging of photo's as well as albums, editiing features that compare to semi-professional photo editing software and communication with your digital camera forms a powerful combination. And now there's more. Google just released Picasa Webalbums. The site is meant to organise your pictures on the web, just as Flickr for instance and upload them from your Picasa software on your desktop computer. Google gives you 250 MB storage for free, which is upgradable. The only current drawback is you have to be invited to use it or you can put your name on their waiting list and you wait until Google gives you access.
