RaiseCapital actually worked for me. At first I posted out of need and curiosity. It seems to be like a Craigslist for financial connecting - a JDate for cash. It seemed like a long shot.

Yet, I posted. What I got back were two requests for more info on my venture. I landed some money as a result. I am amazed. I was knocking on bank doors and getting them closed on me. This worked. Who knew?
