With all the sources on the web you follow, especially the ones that offer rss feeds (who doesn't these days), it is getting more and more interesting to remix all the feeds you read and make one big feed of it. Several websites offer this functionality, and Yahoo just launched an alternative : Pipes.
Unfortunately, that's completely true. Pipes is in no way original as several other websites and programs went far ahead of Yahoo and did this.
Some examples : Jeteye, where you can remix the web using jetpaks, but a nice alternative is reBlog, a program you can setup on your website that will use feeds and output it in different formats such as rss or html/xml.
Pipes is an interactive feed aggregator and manipulator. Using pipes, you can create feeds that are more powerful, useful and relevant.(Pipes)
Unfortunately, that's completely true. Pipes is in no way original as several other websites and programs went far ahead of Yahoo and did this.
