Web2.0 Software

While everyone was busy posting *funny* april fools all over the net, I have been working on some gallery/ slideshow scripts. As I was looking for a nice and workable solution that has all the required eye-candy, and a very close friend of mine was looking for the same thing for one of his clients, I spent some time on the net trying to find a cool script. And I did.
I looked at Jondesign's SmoothGallery 1.0.1 (what's in a version nr??) and I was amazed by two things : The looks of it and the simplicity of the code. It was very simple to implement and it looks great - but there's one big downside : it doesn't grab you images by itself : Each images has to be hardcoded in 4 lines !!
I decided to put it aside - either I find a better one or I write a little script that grabs images from a dir and generates the needed code....
