Search Social Networks To Find Information You Want

Delver is a new search engine that doesn't search the whole Web. It only searches social networking sites. The social networks it currently searches are MySpace, Blogger, Flickr, LinkedIn, YouTube, Hi5, FriendFeed, Digg and Delicious. They're building an app for Facebook and other networks will be added later.

Search Social Networks To Find Information You Want

When you first try to search using Delver, you'll be asked to enter your name. Then it will attempt to find your social network profiles. It found several of mine right away, amazing. Now your Delver profile is created for you.

Search through three different categories: Web, People or Media. No matter which one you choose you'll find some fascinating results from all over the social Web.

"..the service taps into your social graph to return its search results. It organizes and ranks publicly displayed content that comes from various online services like social networks, web sites, blogs, bookmarking services, and photo and video sharing sites that your friends belong to…" ~Sarah Perez, ReadWriteWeb

The social graph that Delver creates is really cool. You can see all your closest friends all in one place. Give Delver a try. Then come back here and tell me what you think of it. I want to hear your opinions on this Social search engine.
