Web Based Apps
by S.M. Schrama on June 12, 2006
Sharpcast services automatically synchronize your PCs, mobile phone and the web, to keep all our media and information always up to date and instantly accessible on whatever device you're using and whether your'e online or not. And we do all the heavy lifting.Although the website looks good and the application seems to be handy and innovative, it is only after having registered that I found you need an application installed on your computer and that application is MS Windows only.
In my opinion, if you want to be innovative and you release something like this that is meant to be an online application, you have to release the app for all platforms. Or even better, there should not be a local application needed to run this service. I have to call this application Web 1.0. I am sorry.
