Sony unveils Sidekick-killer
Filed in archive Newsdesk 2.0 on August 9, 2006
Sony will start shipping their handheld communications device currently known as 'Mylo'.The palmtop features 802.11b wireless networking, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4in, 320 x 240 colour display and comes pre-loaded with GoogleTalk, Yahoo! Messenger and Skype.
People, this is a killer device. At a price quoted at 350 USD, this is what you need to have Web 2.0 with you at all times. As soon as the device becomes available in Europe, yours truly will get himself one and tell you all about it. As the device runs opera as a browser, I will finally be able publish from hotspots around the globe. I can't wait.....

yes it is a bit pricey but the nice pop out keyboard sure beats those tiny onscreen ones. I'd love to get one
