Techcrunch received a letter from Youtube's lawyers, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, accusing the good crunchers of violating YouTube's Terms of Use and more. So what happened ? They published a post about a tool that enables you to download movies from Youtube to your harddrive. The tool was selfmade, after reading Youtube's Terms (!?). The tool is an online tool.
In Youtube's terms it is not stated downloading movies to be illegal, but the tube's lawyers now claim it is stated to be illegal.
I've sent the letter to my attorney for review, but I am likely to remove the tool to preserve my relationship with the company.

Youtube made the mistake, let them admit it. Come on, Michael ! don't let them get to you only because they're bigger than you....
