TelID : use your phone number as web adress
More and more local businesses have learned that having a web site can help them grow and operate more efficiently. In fact, in some parts of the US, over 60% of local businesses now have their own web site!
However, potential customers trying to find these web sites often end up frustrated - stymied by long or complicated domain names that are difficult to remember. And, using search engines to find local businesses can often be a hit or miss proposition, at best.
TelID solves this problem with a simple, consistent, and easy-to-use solution based on something people everywhere are used to - a phone number!
(TelID)
What it does is simple : You can register your phonenumber and URL, and TelID functions as a search engine that translates the number to the web adress. Not such a bad idea, but about 10 years too late. People already know how to find websites using *regular* search engines such as google.
