To Ning or not to Ning
Ning is a social network based around applications. You can create applications, share them, use applications that already exist within Ning made by others or Ning itself and much more.
Ning is a platform for creating and sharing Social Web Apps, or websites, on the Internet today. And it's free!
With Ning, you have the power to create your very own Social Web App in a few easy steps. You can:

  • * Create a Group website - make it public or private, customize member profiles, and take advantage of photo sharing, a discussion board, and an events calendar just for your group!

  • * Connect your friends or family all over the world in one place

  • * Upload, tag, and share photos among your family, friends, or fellow hobbyists

  • * Share wishes or goals

  • * Review restaurants on a Google Map

  • * Map photos on a Google Map

  • * Create your own Hot or Notâ„¢ Website for any topic or group

  • * Make some extra cash by running your own ads on your Ning App

The possibilities are very impressive. There are so many options and types of applications available that you could consider moving your current blog, photo album, bookmarks and shopping lists to Ning. Where do you want to Ning today ?
