Truemors - Spread your Rumors

Years ago one of my friends, a designer, wrote a paper on the power of rumors. Unfortunately it is not online, but I remember how he explained how the use of rumors can heavily influence political choices, for example.
Truemors is something slightly different. Used for a completely different purpose, it is a site where ayone can enter a rumor. The idea behind it ? I don't have a clue. But you would be surprised how certain wellplaced rumors could have an unexpected effect on the blogosphere and possibly beyond.Truemors is a web site that enables you to "tell the world"-within the bounds of good taste and the law anyway. You can post your rumors, news, and sightings, and anyone with web access can read and rate them within minutes. We wish to acknowledge the pioneering and inspiring work of Twitter, BoredAt, Digg, PostSecret, PopSugar, and hotornot in this field.(Truemors)
