Years ago one of my friends, a designer, wrote a paper on the power of rumors. Unfortunately it is not online, but I remember how he explained how the use of rumors can heavily influence political choices, for example.
Truemors is something slightly different. Used for a completely different purpose, it is a site where ayone can enter a rumor. The idea behind it ? I don't have a clue. But you would be surprised how certain wellplaced rumors could have an unexpected effect on the blogosphere and possibly beyond.
Truemors is a web site that enables you to "tell the world"-within the bounds of good taste and the law anyway. You can post your rumors, news, and sightings, and anyone with web access can read and rate them within minutes.
