VOIP : Take the internet in your ear
Voip (Voice Over IP) is a big thing in the internet and communication today. Recently I've started investigations into VOIP for our home business - why paying for a landline (expensive in holland) if I could have a WIFI enabled phone that allows me to make and receive calls wherever there's WIFI ?

There are several companies that offer voip technology you can use at home, but Skype is still the one that ofers most features at the best price. They offer several phones, but all these phones expect a computer around. That's crap. A phone must be a phone and work without a computer connected to it. So I want a WIFI enabled skypephone. There's not much choice. Netgear has one. According to skype it isn't out yet, but I have spotted it somewhere. The price is around 169 EUR, but I read an article that says talktime is only 30 minutes on a full charge....

To be continued....
