Web 2.0 : a domainname is not enough
Filed in archive Newsdesk 2.0 by S.M. Schrama on July 5, 2006
Ever since domain name prices dropped several years ago and websites with dynamic content (userdriven) has become poular, webbased applications pop up like mushrooms calling themselves 'Web 2.0 software'. An example is Pubet. This is a website that will show pictures on your pc as they were in a gallery online. And it gets worse - only on Windows. I think this is the worst I have seen - the least they could have done is give you the space for your pictures online. The fact that this only works with Windows certainly doesn't make it Web 2.0 as it is not usable for everyone.
