Your desktop can travel with you as 30Boxes has introduced the Webtop. After signup you can login to your webtop and use it. 30Boxes has looked at MacOSX : on the left side of the screen you'll find a 'dock' and on the right side you will get semi-transparent updates on buddies and events from your calendar.
As impressive as it looks, I have to say some things are not as good as others in this webtop. As the dock has a link builtin that opens your gmail, the calendar application is not google calendar. Furthermore you can register all kinds of buddies, but not google talk buddies or ICQ buddies. The gmail link in the dock opens in a new window which is annoying - why not on your webtop ?? If they improve features and functionality this could well become a serious alternative for your desktop.
