WIKIA offers free Wiki hosting

Wiki's have been one of the first signs of what we know as Web 2.0 right now. As Web 2.0 is all about sharing and collaboration, Wiki's were far ahead of time. The main *winning* features of Wiki's were versioning, some featured automatic versioning, the option of collaboration of documents and content and accessibility through a browser (no client software needed). I worked with a couple of Wiki's before, privately but also professionally. Where a CMS would have been an Overkill, Wiki's would do the job fine where it comes to keeping your documentation up to date. But today, Wiki's are outdated. The once so influencial features are found in all office applications you can find online, and these applications have become so pretty and nice to work with that a Wiki cannot win this war anymore.

It's not live yet but according to the site it will be soon. Pretty cool !!
