Yahoo! has just announced the code to their e-mail, called the kings jewelry by some, will be opened. Yes, we're talking about the code for their e-mail and yes, they've only announced it, not opened it.

I still think it's nice. But Yahoo's mail service is not that good, there are better ones out there that I wouldn't mind having a key for...

Officials of the world's largest Internet media company said it planned to give away the underlying code to yahoo Mail, one of the crown jewels of its business, in a bid to encourage software developers to build new applications based on e-mail.(Reuters)
