Sandy lives in your email. For example, you would like to be reminded of something trivial such as taking out the trash. So you send Sandy an email saying "Remind take out trash Weds @weekly" and you'll be reminded. If you ask Sandy to remind you of a meeting with someone, that persons contact information will be kept and tracked.
I wonder if this really helps though. It all depends on your style of working. In my case, I track most todo's via email or calendar. In my setup, my calendar gets planned on my blackberry and gets sync'ed to google when I get to my mac. Google will remind me using sms and email, just as Sandy does. So I have accomplished that part. The only thing Sandy does better is manage the contact, so I might actually give it a try.
I think a tool like this could be very, very useful if it has the ability to integrate with other existing services, such as LinkedIn for (certain) contacts, and probably other existing services as well. Sandy is in private beta unfortunately, so we'll have to be patient for a little while to testdrive her.
Sandy is here. (iwantsandy.com)
