One of the biggest websites you can use to look for a place to live in the Netherlands is Funda.The site has grown fast and others have followed in it's footsteps. The original founder of the site had another idea recently, as he discovered that looking for a new car (used or brand new) in this wet little country is not easy.


First of all you have to go through different sites, where you will mostly find the same cars as advertisers do have the options to have their ad appear on different sites. Second of all, the sites are somwhat different, resulting in different search results.


his man however didn't accept this and launched a better site to find your vehicle : Zomoto. And boy is it good!
Zomoto is first of all very fast, it works like a proper Web 2.0 application and has a good look and feel. The site offers verious ways of keeping you up to date with whatever you're looking for, while registering is a breeze and only takes 5 seconds.


Besides the search results, the site offers a link back to the original ad. And then it gets even better: Zomoto calculates the estimated cost per month to own and drive the car you've selected. Where the other sites base themselves only on the fixed prices for insurance and road taxes, Zomoto adds maintenance cost, based on historical reports by owners and dealers. It is fabulous.
